Our Classes
Every class in Music Begins in Families is built on
the same philosophy of joyful music making, meaningful relationships, and shared
experiences. Each class is thoughtfully designed for a different stage of childhood
while inviting the important adults in a child’s life to participate, connect,
and grow together.
🎵Family Music
Designed for children age 6 and younger, together with the adults who love them.
Family Music is a joyful place where children and the people who love them sing, move, play, laugh, and learn together. Through songs, fingerplays, movement, musical games, stories, rhythm instruments, and imaginative play, families strengthen relationships while creating meaningful musical experiences that naturally become part of everyday family life.
Families with children of multiple ages are warmly welcomed, making Family Music a joyful opportunity for siblings to learn, sing, and grow together.

Music Adventures invites families to continue making music together through joyful singing, movement, musical games, stories, rhythm instruments, and imaginative play designed especially for the growing abilities of preschool and kindergarten-aged children. Each experience encourages deeper musical discovery while preserving the joy, connection, and meaningful family experiences that are at the heart of every Artful Musician class.
Parents, grandparents, and other loved ones are warmly invited to participate as families continue growing, learning, and creating joyful musical memories together.

Where beloved stories come alive through music, movement, and imagination.
Imagine opening a favorite children’s book and stepping inside the story. In Sing Me a Story, books become unforgettable musical adventures as children and the adults who love them sing, move, act, imagine, and play their way through each story together. With puppets, creative movement, dramatic play, and joyful music making, every class becomes an immersive experience that children remember long after the final page is turned.
Throughout the year, families journey through a carefully chosen collection of seasonal stories and beloved books that inspire creativity, nurture a love of reading, and create meaningful musical memories together. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that beautifully weaves together music, literature, imagination, and family connection.
Building a Family Library
Each month, families receive a list of the featured singing stories from class. My hope is that many of these treasured stories will find a place in your own home library, where the songs, stories, and joyful memories can continue long after class is over.
