The toddler years are vital for developing gross and fine motor skills, language development and social skills leading to strengthening bonds with loved ones. The Mom and Tots class provides opportunities to learn songs and rhymes in support of these attitudes and abilities. At this age, it is all about gaining experience through interacting with music and the world around them. A packet of materials and online resources will be provided for class home use.

Developed by a music specialist and elementary teacher, the stories presented in this series are all sung or chanted rhythmically with a strong emphasis on vocal play (an important singing skill). Story concepts also include reading comprehension, language development, cause and effect, sequencing, prediction, and cognitive reasoning.
